iCloud - Server says unauthorized

When adding an iCloud account I get an error message stating that the Server says unauthorized.

Hi Jean, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check for the exact version number in Help > About? Are you using any security software on your computer that may have disabled the application’s ability to connect to your mail server?

Are you using the two step verification option on your iCloud account settings?

Hi Paul,

I only downloaded it yesterday, the free version to try out with an eye on buying pro as I’ve got many email addresses and coming from OSX I really want a unified mailbox with support for touch as well…

Anyway the version I’m using is: 6.0.21372.0

The only security software I’m using is Windows Defender. I’ve also got iCloud installed and the integration in Outlook 2013 works just fine.

No I’m not using two step authentication just yet.

Hi again, how did you setup the account in eM Client, did you use the automatic setup or did you setup the account manually? Can you please make a screenshot of your account settings from Tools > Accounts > Your account of the IMAP/SMTP/Calendar, Tasks and Contacts tabs and submit the screenshot to us here on the forum?

Paul, thank you. However I’m not going to post that on a public forum. Further more if this doesn’t work out of the box then I’m loosing interest rapidly in the product. It should just work…

I’m going to leave it and not bother with em mail. Shame it is promising but yet very far from usable.
