iCloud IMAP stopped working

eM Client cannot sync IMAP contents as of yesterday, however. Tried multiple machines and different iCloud accounts, even a brand new one. I logged a support ticket, but am wondering if anyone else is seeing this behavior?

I have not been able to sync IMAP either. I can sync without any problem using Outlook 2013.

Yup, having exactly the same problem. No IMAP sync (outgoing SMTP appears to be unaffected). Diagnostics are reporting that my ID is not recognised.

Basically, remove “@me.com” or “@icloud.com” from the username you use for authentication and things should work fine (at least they have for me for 3+ days).

Ok but my problem is that my icloud account is using a @gmail.com ID because it’s my apple ID. I’m having problems with the autentication. It sync with my iCalendar, etc… but then every 5-10 minutes, i get that popup box that says AUTHENTICATION FAILED. Suggestions? Rory
