I stupidly used a registry cleaner and the result was that I have been unable to open eMClient on my desktop Windows 11 computer. Tried repairing but to no avail. I subsequently renamed eM Client to Old eM Client with the intent of installing a new version and hopefully importing the old files/folders. I’m not sure what happened but I cannot find the newly created “old eM Client”. However there remains an eM Client folder. I have important emails that I would like to recover. Is it possible to recover these emails?
Save your em client folder to a USB disk.
Repair Windows using System Restore or other actions at Recovery options in Windows - Microsoft Support. (Contact Microsoft support if needed.)
Reinstall em Client following the procedures at How to restore backup in eM Client | eM Client
