i see an operations screen every time EM client starts -
What does it say?
it shows the operation screen - my login and a (bar) the fills in from left to right. (getting messages I assume).
it shows my account connecting to pop server and then, done when finished.
OK, so no errors then.
You can disable this in Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Operations Window. You want to untick Show window on send and receive.
