I like EM client a lot

But it won’t send emails, some maybe but not many. I have tried several different address’s and the various things in the forum/web etc.
I want to use EM client but cannot without it works.
proper advice please, all my settings are correct.

About three hours later, without doing anything further, it started working, good but slightly bizzare.

If your emails wouldn’t send “but now are sending ok”, and you haven’t changed any SMTP server settings then “that could just be mail server sending problem” where they eg: might have had and Outage or Technical problem with the sending server which then took time to get resolved. That can happen sometimes.

So if you again get sending mail problems, first check with your sending mail server technical support.

If they then say no issues with the sending mail server, then “click the dropdown box on the right of Refresh top left and click Show Operations”. Then click the “Log tab” and look for any obvious errors and paste them in this thread. We might then be able to see what’s wrong.

Also go to “Menu / Accounts” and click your account on the left, and then click your SMTP tab, and update what your SMTP server settings are.

Also what version of eM Client you are using and if you have Windows or Mac & OS version.

Hi, Thank you for your prompt and informative reply.
I am using version10.0.3266 (7060eea) and Windows 11.
I have tried the smpt’s for Outlook, Office 365 and BT, and various all the security options, all without success. Sending from Outlook was not a problem. It is very odd that it should suddenly start working, I will check the operations tab, there was no delay in sending, the messages reappeared in the outbox straight away.
