I just upgraded from Win7 to Win10 using EM7. My past emails and settings have disappeared. How can I recover them?

I just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. All my past emails and settings have disappeared from my EM 7. How can I recover them so I don’t have to recreate them from scratch?

After the upgrade you will have a folder called C:\Windows.old.

Close eM Client and copy the C:\Windows.old\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\eM Client\ folder to C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\eM Client\ replacing the existing one. eM Client needs to be closed for you to do that, and you may have to show hidden items in Explorer.
