I have both a primary Ryan@ and a general Info@ gmail account synced. Right now, under calendar, the only folder and calendar showing is for Info@. How do I add in the Ryan@ account to my available calendars?
Hi Ryan, did you add both accounts as separate accounts or are you using one of the accounts as an alias to the second account?
How did you setup both account if you’ve added them separately?
What version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check for the exact version number in Help > About?
Thank you,
Paul
They were added separately as unique accounts. I simply went to accounts and clicked “add new account”.
Version 6.0.21040.0
Thanks!
If these are both Gmail accounts, can you please navigate to Tools > Accounts > Your account, and check if you have an available calendar service (tab) for this account in your account settings window?
Thank you,
Paul
The calendar tab only appears when on the Info@ Account, nothing for the Ryan@ Account.
Hi Ryan, can you please make a screenshot of your calendar subfolder tree showing no calendars for your ryan@ account? Also please navigate to Tools > Accounts > Your Ryan@ account > Calendar and Contacts and make a screenshot of the account setting for this service.
Please post both screenshots here on the forum.
Also what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check for the exact version number in Help > About? Are you using any security software on your computer that would disable the application’s ability to connect to the server.
Thank you,
Paul
Hey Paul,
Requested screens and version are below. Thanks!
Version 6.0.21040.0
Hi Ryan, unfortunately there’s not calendar service setup for this account, are you completely sure an additional calendar service should be available for this account?
If so, you can setup the calendar service manually in Tools > Accounts > New account > Calendar, and check if you’re able to synchronize the calendar using your credentials.
However if both accounts are hosted on gmail the calendar service should be setup automatically.
Thank you,
Paul
Hey Paul,
That did the trick! Manually re-entered the account and this time the calender works. Maybe when I first created the account the calendar was not yet created on the Google side, and for whatever reason it didn’t automatically add the new calendar.
Thanks for your assistance!
Best,
Ryan
Hi Ryan, sometimes you need to login to the calendar for the first time to activate it.
Glad it works, please make sure to let us know if you come across any other issues or questions about the application, we’ll be happy to help.
Thank you,
Paul
