I cannot download new email from IMAP mtnmail.com.cy.

I cannot download new email from IMAP mtnmail.com.cy. In the beggining it showed an error “unable to connect”. Pressing “Send receive” won’t work although diagnose says its ok.

Hello Antonis, are you still experiencing this issue? What mail service are you using with your account is that a local ISP account or a major mail service provider in your area?

When the error occurs, can you please make a screenshot of the error and submit it to us here on the forum along with a copy of the log content from the “Log” tab in operations?

What version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About?

I’m using a local ISP mail account, and eM Client version 6.0.22344.0. 

Hello Antonis, seems like the connection is being forcibly closed either by the host or an external security application, are you using any security software on your computer that may have disabled the application’s ability to connect to the server? If so, please try to temporarily disable this kind of software and make sure the connection is not being blocked by proxy, firewall or any other security software.

It’s not my antivirus

Have you tried to disable the security? Unfortunately the connection is being forcibly closed or the request can’t be processed on time on your server. Your antivirus might just be blocking the port you’re currently using to access the mail server.

Hi, yes, i tried turning off my antivirus and then tried to open eM client and download my email, but unfortunately it didn’t work.
