I need to manually add an email account to the latest version but it only sets up automatic and that will not work with my gmail account for some reason. I need to manually be able to set it up like I had always done with the two other accounts I have.

To setup an account manually, go to “Menu / Accounts”. Then click “Add account” and click “Mail”. You will then see the various manual options available as per the below example screenshot from the following eM Client support webpage on manually setting up accounts.
If you want to manually setup a POP or IMAP account, then click “Mail” and select “Other”…
Now as you have a Gmail account, you normally “should now be using the automatic email wizard” as per Google changes sometime ago, which sets up an IMAP account via the new modern OAuth token login via the browser authentication popup at the end, as per the eM Client webpage for setting up Google workspace accounts.
How far did you get up to in the automatic wizard ?
Suggest to screenshot where you got up to and blank out anything personal.
Thanks. That was the information I needed. The auto setup for gmail would not work, it kept dumping me out. Manually though, I got it done.
