In the most recent update (9.1.2109) the hyperlinks contained in incoming emails are throwing an error when pressed to follow the link.

I don’t see the error message in your posting.
The error states “Unable to open webpage (then webpage url), please check your system associations settings.”
It may be that you don’t have a default browser selected in your Windows OS, or there is some issue with the browser that is selected.
As a test, select a different browser as default, then try again.
I guess I should have been more clear in my original post. This is a Windows 10 machine.

What I’ve described only occurred after the 9.1.2109 update. Up until then all was normal.
