Unbelievable that in 2012 I am still stuck using Outlook as all the alternatives are hopelessly flawed! Something serious wrong with the world of software development … I guess the nerds aren’t as smart as they think
On your menu Tools -> Settings -> Storage. You can assign a different database under there.
This works if you follow this procedure:
- create new folder
- use tools / settings / storage and browse to the folder (you can’t type/paste the path, grrr)
- shutdown em client
- copy all the files EXCEPT settings.xml from C:\Users\blah\AppData\Roaming\ to the new folder
- start em client
now remember to backup both folders …
