how to shrink header bar size in message view?

When viewing messages I have the message panel on the bottom below the list of message titles. The header section of each message takes up far too much vertical visual space (most of it empty). Is there a way of reducing this? Thunderbird had the same problem, but the ‘CompactHeader’ add on reduced the vertical height considerably.

There is no way to change the size of the header section, but one way to see more of the message body is to move the message panel to the right. In Thunderbird this is called vertical view. In eM Client you can change the setting in Menu > View > Layout > Messages on the Right

When are you guys going to fix the message headers and make them adjustable?
They are insanely wide with no way to configure. It can’t be that difficult.
