How to restore backup copy in the Spanish version?

I had to format my computer and now I can’t recover my backup copy, can you help me?

Hola. Are you using gmail or some other IMAP email service where your email is stored in the cloud? As a check can you view your email in a web browser? If so, if you can’t restore em Client, it might be just as easy to re-install em Client and setup your email accounts again, em Client will access your email in the cloud.

On the other hand, if you were downloading all your email to your computer, you will need access to your backup copy of your email. Others may have tips on how to do that.

If you have been making regular eM Client backups (prior to formatting your computer) either manually via Menu / Backup or automatically via the eM Client Settings, then “if you have a recent copy of your computer user profile on another internal or external or cloud drive”, you can copy the dated backup.zip files from your backed up “Documents / eM Client” folder and then restore in eM Client via “Menu / File / Restore”. Any new mail since the last backup will then update when eM Client next syncs.

Now if you haven’t been making regular eM Client backups via the Menu manually or automatically via the Settings and “have no backup.zip files” in your Documents / eM Client folder, then if you have been making regular backups of your user profile you can alternatively restore eM Client from the hidden database folder. To do that see the below.

1). Close eM Client and then go to your current new eM Client hidden database Windows or Mac folder location and “delete everything in the eM Client folder”.

(Hidden database folder Windows)
C:\Users%username%\AppData\Roaming\eM Client

(Hidden database folder Mac)
/Users/User Name/Library/Application Support/eM Client

2). Then go to your backed up same user profile “eM Client hidden database folder” and copy the complete contents and paste it in your new blank hidden database folder.

3). Next open eM Client which should then be the same as it was before. Any new messages will update when eM Client next syncs.

Note: The above assumes you are installing the same eM Client version as you had before.

Lastly if you haven’t been making backups of your computer profile, apart from setting up new again from a cloud mail account as @Tony_W advised, you could alternatively “restore eM Client from a computer image” if you have been creating those regularly on another internal or external drive.
