how to reset password

I can’t remember my password, what are the steps to follow to reset the password. The sign in page asks foe the password but doesn’t give you a tab to reset it if you don’t remember the password.

If you are referring to your Internet password and you have a Legacy eg: POP or IMAP account with a login username and password, you first “go online to your mail account or webmail” and then change the password. Then go in eM Client to “Menu / Accounts” and click on your account on the left, and then click the POP or IMAP tab and enter your new password and then save your account.

If you carn’t login to your online mail account or webmail to change or reset your password, then you should have a “forgot password option online” to reset your password. If there is no forgot password option online, then contact your online mailbox technical support.

If you have a passwordless IMAP, Exchange, Office 365 or iCloud account with a OAuth token, then you also change or reset your password online in your account or webmail but “you don’t need to change anything in eM Client”.
