How to ignore some folders in a shared imap mailbox

Hi,

I’d like to ignore some folders in a shared mailbox , those folders don’t exist, so they err and are annoying.

We have an on-site imap service, the mailbox where I connect is on a specific server, I use my main LDAP account to authenticate with a specific mailbox name.
That mailbox does not have /inbox or others, I get errors like the following

[IMAP] Creating or updating folder '/Outbox' failed due to the following error: Permission denied

Same happens for /Inbox.

There are other issues in the forum similar to this, but after seeing they are 10 years old I decided to create this new one.

Hi @Scotty I have since discovered that there is actually a way to do this. No fancy tick boxes, so it will take a few minutes of your time to setup. First thing you need is the actual name of the folder on the server. To get that, right-click on the folder in eM Client and choose Properties.
