how to get older emails off the server

I would like to download all my messages off the server in a new installation, but all I see is the recent emails…any ideas how to get everything

does it display some error message? If so, please paste it here. If not, paste here please content of Log tab of your Operations window (menu Tools->Operations). What protocol do you use for your emails (POP3 or IMAP) ?

I use pop3, but it is leaving older messages like those sent back in the early part of july on the server, I am thinking that there must be a switch to call for “all” messages from the server.

No error message to report, just trying to get messages from July 1 forward, after first install yesterday.

Hello,
we would appreciate if you send us logs: go to menu Tools->Settings->Logging and check Network communication. Then restart eM Client, try to simulate the issue and send us the logs using the same logging settings window.
