How to fix can't send eMail, cause server (smtp) can't be found, but with the same configuration my colleague can send eMails... ?

From time to time my eMClient (v.6.0.22243.0) is not sending any eMail. We are using this program in our office and my colleague has the same configuration etc on his PC, but it works…  How can this be? I just got a message that the smtp server can’t be found… As I can send eMails from other applications it couldn’t be a problem of the server but of the eM-Client :frowning:

Hi, if you’re using an identical setup, the only thing that could cause this might be your antivirus or some other security software such as proxy or firewall, please try to temporarily disable these elements and check if the issue persists.

If the issue reoccurs, please make a screenshot of the error and your SMTP settings for the account.

Also what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About?
