I recently discovered that the Quick Move feature now does what Postbox used to do (and I guess it has for some time). Hooray!
The question/problem is that the initial choice that pops up (presumably the most recent choice I made) is almost impossible to read because it shows white text on a light-blue background.
I’d like to change the background of the initial popup so that it is readable. Because it is an ephemeral pop-up menu, there is no way to select it with the Theme Editor’s “Pick Element” tool. I’ve experimented with changing various plausible settings in the Theme Editor that are currently light blue, but so far I have yet to find the setting that applies to the Quick Move menu. Is there some way to figure this out?
Do I presume you refer to the right click menu and the section
Copy to / Move to Folder also to Junk and Archive?
The colour shown here changes with the Theme in use and the
Background colour defined.
Have you experimented with Themes?
I have just checked through the standard eMC Themes that
are available in Settings / Appearance / Themes and was not
able to replicate your issue though some are faint.
To overcome this I created my own Dark Theme that is on the
user created Themes where there are about 60 to choose from,
my Theme has been download over 23600 times at:
That was a good suggestion to try another theme to figure out what the item was! I used an existing theme from the standard options that seemed bright and full of contrasting colors. Then I looked at what color appeared when I chose “Quick Move,” and thankfully it was dark purple. That made it easy to identify that it was the theme setting of Buttons > Textbox > General > TextBoxHighlight (in case anyone else runs into this challenge!). Thanks!
