Hi,
I was advised to change my eMClient password recently and did so through my internet provider’s webmail site.
Now I’m locked out of my eMClient.
All I get when I open eMClient is :- Server says,“5.7.8 Authentification failed”
(With both " user name and password", filled in)
When I hit the “OK” and the “Cancel” boxes ,the message returns.
When I delete the unknown password and enter the correct “reset password”, that I set up this morning, the original message returns.
I’ve looked at and tried some of the solutions in your “frequently asked questions” and none have worked.
I’ve even tried to log in on my phone, with the same effects.
Now I cannot bypass eMClient, by going directly through my provider’s webmail, because it’s only accessed through my email password, that I changed this morning.
Catch 22!
Can anybody help me to access my password and verify it please?
