There are just so many issues in 8 beta, I would like to go back to 7, but when I download the lastest 7.2.38732.0 and try to install it, it tells me I already have the latest version installed. I thought about installing but I don’t want to lose all my settings and redo all my usernames and download all my emails again. How do I manage to go back to the older version and leave this beta version?
Because of the change in the database format, just like from 6 to 7, it s not possible to use the beta version database with 7.
Best solution is to uninstall the beta, selecting to delete your database directory when asked, then install version 7. Once that is done, restore the backup you made before installing the beta.
