How to change font colour for unread messages

Hi,

New eM user here, converting over from Outlook. So far so good, but I am surprised I dont seem to be able to change the font colour for unread message headers ONLY, I want to change from the default Black to a Blue colour (just my preference, easier on the eye).

I have messed around in theme editor and have been able to change other aspects of an unread message (background, foreground colours, badge colour) but not the header font. I did find an option to change ALL messages to desired colour, but that defeats my purpose.

I would have thought this was a more basic option than some of the hundreds of other apperance config options, so maybe I am just missing something

Hey Thunderbolt, thanks that looks useful. I had tweaked the unread count and the fore and background options but not the Colorsbydefault one, will try that.

Curious that thread didnt come up when i searched for fairy much that phrase, maybe only showing top 3 isnt so useful…
