How to Automatically Navigate to the Latest Email When Returning to the Inbox?

Hi,
I’m facing an issue and hoping someone here can help me out.

When I have an email open in the “Inbox” folder (for example, an older email from December 17, 2024), then switch to another folder (like “Flagged”), and click on a different email, returning to the “Inbox” brings me back to the previously opened email (from December 17, 2024).

I would like to set it up so that every time I return to the “Inbox” folder, it automatically shows the newest email (the one at the top of the list).

Is this functionality possible in eM Client? If yes, where can I configure it?

Thank you in advance for any help or guidance!

As @Gary advised in other threads, it is by design that your position in the message list for that folder is remembered until you restart the application, but there is a quick way you can get to the top or bottom of the mail folder list.

“If you have eM Client for Windows, you can press the “Home” key to automatically go to the top” of the list, and press the “End” key to automatically go to the bottom".

“If you have Mac and “no Home or End keys”, then It’s Fn left arrow to go to the top of the list and Fn right arrow to go to the end”.

“Most fullsize Mac Keyboards have a Home and End button so you can also use them as well”.
