how to auto reply - out of the office

Is there a feature where i can automatically reply to emails that i am receiving whilst on holiday. As in i m not here blaa, blaa, blaa.

Hi,
no there isn’t such feature because it is server’s functionality. When you are “out of office” you don’t have client (eM Client) running.

I am sure there is an option in thunderbird using the filters to automatically reply using a template when a message is received from somebody. BTW my pc is on 24/7 and downloads new messages every 5 minutes. so an automated option would be great. I am sure this would be achieved by a few additional options in the filters setup.

In short eM cannot do this via it rules. And yes, there’re other e-mail program that can achieves this unfortunately. EM need to revamp it rules. https://discourse.emclient.com/emclient/to…
