How to "access it using web interface first."

I’m sorry… this may be a really, really stupid question.

But on this site: http://www.emclient.com/em-client-wit…

It tells me: Be aware in order to use your calendar account you have to access it using web interface first.

How do I do that?? I just don’t understand… its probably very simple, but I really want my calendar to sync up! I just can’t seem to get rid of sync errors.

Hello,
open your web browser, enter the following address: calendar.google.com, enter your Google Account email and password, and click Sign in. That’s it!

oh. Well, that is sort of what I thought. it didn’t work. I’m still getting the following error: Synchronizing calendar '[email protected]/My Calendar/" failed with an error: Specified cast is not valid.

Have you any ideas on that error?

please download and install the latest version of eM Client http://www.emclient.com/dist/v4.0.149… and let me know if it helps.

Unfortunately that did not help. I tried deleting the account and re-adding it as well. :frowning:

Yay! I got it working. :slight_smile: I had recently started over with my OS and then tried using this email client. since my last reply to this thread, I realized I didn’t have any service packs installed for Windows. I got it up to date and the calendar is syncing beautifully. Thanks for the replies! Maybe this will help someone else.
