Why is clicking an icon on the right to change the sound file a hack ? How would you like to do it.
The default sounds are creepy. I have tried to disable these multiple times. All indications are the red X over the sound icon on everything. I have hit Apply and Save & Close multple times but the creep sound just keeps playing later when a new message arrives
Disabling the sound notifications work for me ok in V9 or V10 on PC or Mac.
So if you are disabling the sounds and it’s not working, then try uninstalling the program and if you have Windows “don’t delete the database” on the uninstall wizard. Then reinstall the same or later version of eM Client either from the release history page or Windows Store depending on where you originally installed it from and see if that disables the sound when you click the icons.
