How Do I Apply A 'Block Quote' Style To Text?

Good Evening,

When I reply to an email, when I need to reply to a particular part of their message, I often like to give it a ‘block quote’ style to distinguish it. For example:

This example shows text with a block quote style, often to a quote part of a reply in an email.

When I click to reply to an email, EM Client automatically applies a block quote style to their entire message. When I copy a section of that message and paste it above to reply to that one section, the block quote style disappears and the text appears as normal body text.

Does there exist a manual way to apply a block quote style to a paragraph of text? Does there exist a formatted way to preserve the block quote style on pasted paragraph of text?

I moved from Postbox to EM Client this past week. On Postbox, when I highlighted a bit of text on an email message, and then clicked reply, it would automatically place that one highlighted paragraph in a block quote style. This allowed me to reply to that one section alone, instead of the entire message in a block quote.

Please let me know whether you can give any help with the block quote style when replying to a message, thank you.

What I do is use the INDENT toolbar button:

Sometimes, I also mark the section of text and Italicize it (Ctrl+I).

Wait, this still hasn’t been resolved? There’s no way to do blockquote in EmClient???

There’s no way to do any paragraph editing such as line spacing and indenting control etc. Please vote to have it implemented here Change line spacing | New Feature | eM Client
