How can I sort email messages by various fields such as sender or subject rather than default sort order.

It is very often helpful to switch sort orders rather than digging through a mountain of emails to find the one that supports your need.

Just click on the header row and it will sort by that field. Hover over “From” and it will highlight the header for that column, then click and all messages will sort alphabetically by the name of the sender.

Hi Nancy, hope you were able to find the option based on Bob’s advice, you can choose the sorting order by clicking on the “Sort by…” option above the list of messages, you can also select one of the options to sort by a second criteria next to the sort by column above the message list.

If you’re using the messages on bottom layout, you can sort your messages by clicking on the column above the received messages.
