How can i restore letters from eMclient files

How can i restore letters from eMclient files in new eMclient mail, if previous mail have crash when start ( https://discourse.emclient.com/emclient/to…)

Any tools to backup mail from files or some method for do it?

I need hook up new mail and restore old letters. But i can’t export files from old mail becouse can’t start old mail becouse of error and crash.

Hello,

It is almost impossible (only in rare conditions) to repair database by putting one file from backup to damaged one, you have to always use File - Backup… to create backup file and then if you need or want to restore File - Restore… to import whole backup into eM Client.

Backup by just copy database folder is useless as you will not be able to restore it back.
