How can I disable all synchronization of my gmail account at startup in eM Client?

I use gmail as a secondary email account and I don’t always want to synchronize all gmail information at startup of eM Client.

In the Options window I have unchecked the option for Synchronization at Startup. Yet, it continues to synchronize at startup every time.

How can I turn this off?

If you are using IMAP it will synchronize automatically on every startup.
