How can I configure the date format of the received column?

Can you give a screenshot please Michael as that is not what I am seeing.

With the default settings, the date is shortened to 19/11 as you are asking for.

Iā€™m using single-line layout, not compact view. In compact view it indeed is as above.

How can we have the date formatting as dd/mm as shown on your screenshoot, Gary?

Do you mean dd/mm as opposed to mm/dd? If so, that setting is taken from your OS settings.

If you want the abbreviated date instead of the full date, untick Show full date in your settings:

Thanks Gary. All sorted now!!Ā

If you are using windows, right click on date and time on bottom right corner; click on ā€œadjust date/timeā€; on right top select ā€œdate time regional formattingā€ and then at the bottom click on ā€œchange date formatsā€; here make the short date and long dates as per requirements and then either restart emclient or restart pc to take effect.

If eM Client is using the OS date formats, then where do these come from?
Either way, Iā€™d far rather be able to control this within eM Client itself.
Iā€™d prefer to see these as ā€œSun 13/Junā€

Thank you I was going crazy trying to find this answer. For me it was a matter of language and how I thought it may be classified. I was thinking this was an inbox display topic, is in fact under Mail > Read .
