I’m considering purchasing a second Pro license for my home computer, but have spent considerable time setting up Rules on my primary install. What would be the best way to synch the Rules on the new install? Would I simply do a backup on eM Client 1 and then restore it to eM Client 2? Are there things to watch out for in doing that?
Hi, yes you could either create a backup of your first instance and restore it on your second computer, or if you only want rules and account setup you can go to File > Export and export a .xml file with your settings, you can also choose what will be included in this .xml file - account settings, rules, settings, passwords or all of these options…
You can import this .xml file onto your other computer.
