So fired up and all I have is my local folders- no messages, folders for my two email accounts, nothing…help.

Please make sure that in Menu > Tools > Accounts both accounts are correctly set. I’d also recommend switching off the antivirus SW to make sure it’s not blocking the access to the mail server.
