Is it possible to locate my old database if my PC was reset due to an issue? I really need to get back those folders that I lost. Any help that I can get would be greatly appreciated
The original database is by default in C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\eM Client\ (unless you had it somewhere else). But it depends on the method you used to reset the device, where it will be or if it was deleted. Sometimes you will find a Windows.old folder, and it will be in there. With eM Client closed, you can just move the contents of the \eM Client\ folder back to C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\eM Client\ .
Also, you will find any backups you made in …\Documents\eM Client\ . Unless you changed the backup location, then they will be in whatever folder you selected. If you have a recent one, you can restore it.
Thank you I’ll try that, although it possible the PC repair shop did not save the old files. I’m so at a loss right now because those files I needed it.
