to activate it asks for a license/activation key. But since I’m using a free account it says demo mode which it does not accept. It seems like an endless loop. How do you activate a free account?
Hello, did you generate your free license at www.emclient.com/free-license? It will create your activation key and will give you all instructions. Or there is a another problem?
Get free activation code frolm eM Client. Enter under Help menu. Click activate.

when you get free-license activation key from our website, in eM Client go to menu Help->License and enter the key to activate there. If your eM Client is not activated, window requiring activation key will pop up.
