Have several emails in trash that will not empty

I have about 15 emails in my trash folder that will not go away when I “empty trash”. I have tried everything I know (which is limited) to delete them. Anyone have a suggestion?

Please close eM Client and open a Windows Command Prompt. Not a powershell, but a command prompt.

Paste in this command including the leading "

"C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client\MailClient.exe" /dbrepair

When that is done, restart eM Client.
