Had to Re-Install Windows on same computer and Need to get emClient onto new Windows 11

My computer had a fatal crash requiring me to install a new Windows 11 and re-download all my apps. The cash happened unexpectedly so I could not uninstall any apps formally. I tried to contact kate taylor for a couple days (no reply). I am happy to pay for a new license if needed, but I might have 1 install left. I just want to get some kind of reesponse from emClient so I know what to do.

Hey@3110630

I am not absolutely certain, however, as your PC is not working the License
may have been deactivated automatically, you will find out next time you
try to activate an installation; be patient it might not be immediate.
Use: License Manager to deactivate.

Or contact [email protected] and ask for help

NOW…

To move your eMC data etc to a new computer

The best way to move all your data etc is through: Backup & Restore.

Follow these steps:

On the old device:

1./ Create a backup: Menu ->Backup
2./ Deactivate the license on this device: Menu ->Help ->License
3./ Find the .ZIP backup file and move it to your new device (with a USB)
The default location is ..\Documents\eM Client)

On your new device:

1./ Install eMC from:

2./ Having installed eMC and skipped initial setup
3./Move the ZIP backup file to: …\Documents\eM Client
4./ Create the eM Client folder if it is not there
5./ Restore from your backup through Menu ->File ->Restore
6./ This will transfer everything to mirror your previous installation
7./ Activate your license in Menu ->Help ->License

¡Buena suerte!
