The contacts groups are shown in the main window. It would be better to have the groups in the tree on the left side. This would be much easier to search.
Hi Andreas, what do you mean by “shown in the main window”, do you mean distribution lists?
What mail service (contact service) are you using in eM client and what version of eM client are you currently using?

Main window is, where the Users and Groups are now.
Yes, I think you call it distribution list.
We have an Apple Server 10.9 and use CardDAV for contacts (eM Client 6.0.21040).
And normally the groups and users are not shown together.
So is possible to have the groups below the addressbook itself.
And every group is showing their associated users.

Hi Andreas, unfortunately groups for os x CardDAV servers and iCloud accounts are displayed as distributions rather than folders in eM Client.
Unfortunately there’s no option to display the distribution lists in the sidebar as folders.
