Somehow I accidentally changed some settings and when I hit refresh, I’m taken to Google to sign in. In My Google Account, there is no longer a way to enter my Password. How do I get out of this? Thanks
Yes, with the Oauth process there is no password stored on your computer.
Probably the easiest way is to go to Menu > Tools > Accounts and remove the Gmail account. Then add it again.
Thanks for your help. Unfortunately that doesn’t work. I removed The Google account and added it back. However it still requires me to log in through Google. I tried removing eM Client access from Google and that seemed to work but when I add the Google email account back, it re-initiates the access.
It should do that once, when you setup the account. Afterwards, it shouldn’t ask for that again.
What version of eM Client are you using?
Thanks. eM Client is still listed on Google as a, “Third-party apps with account access”, but I no longer need to go through the step of giving permission. My version is: 7.2.38732.0.
