Google Out Of Office

My team and I share our Google calendars. When I view a teammate’s calendar, their normal meetings and appointments show up, but something they put on their calendar as “Out of Office” on their calendar does not show up when I look. Can this be addressed?

Google Calendar online only supports "Free and Busy” and not Out of Office or Tentative unless you have a standard CalDAV account as per extract from @Olivia_Rust below.

“Quote Extract below on Google Calendar states”

Quote: “With a standard CalDAV account you will see all 4 states (Free/Busy/Tentative/Out of Office) but for example Google Calendar only supports Free and Busy states”

I should have been a bit more clear and explicit. There is an option on Google’s web interface to create an “Out of Office” entry on your calendar.

This would appear to be an entirely different type of entry as it is distinct from an “Event” or a “Task”.

Is there any way that these other items types (including Focus Time, for instance), can be synchronized to em Client.

Ok so you have a “Google Workspace business / organisational account calendar” (non personal version) which yes does let you you set Out of Office online via the web when you click create.

I don’t know if eM Client supports setting out of office in a Google Workspace business account calendar as i only use a personal Gmail account. If it does, someone will update this thread.

You could email [email protected] to ask that question, or if you have a current active paid Pro, Personal or Business version, go to the VIP support page and login & create a support ticket and ask that question.
