I have not changed any settings, rules except install emclient and a lot of good email goes to junk. Even an email from my other email account! HELP
This can sometimes happen when your mail server mailbox automatically detects them as spam and moves them to that folder and eM Client then just reflects your mailbox server.
So if this is happening on your server mailbox, click on the emails in the spam / junk mail folder in your server mailbox and mark them as not junk or not spam depending on your server. So your server mailbox will then know to leave those emails in the inbox when they arrive again.
Thanks for the response cyberzork.
it’s strange as i send myself emails all the time and this never happened until I downloaded em client. i have 10 email addresses that I have to go in to see what’s going into junk. I also added my work email and the same thing is happening. I am hesitant to think that all my mail servers suddenly decided to put good emails to junk. hum…

Do a test. Close eM Client and then go into your Webmail online and then send yourself the email that goes into the Spam / Junk folder. If it then goes into the Spam / Junk folder online (without eM Client open) then you know its server mailbox related. If it doesn’t then you know its a setting in eM Client.
If everything works ok online and these emails don’t go into the Spam / Junk folder online, then try unchecking the “Spam filter” in eM Client “Rules” to test if that’s got anything to do with it.
You can also access “Local and Server Rules” to check them for any possible problems via the “Dropdown at the top of Rules” as per the below example screenshot. You can access eM Client rules via “Menu / Rules”.
I found my eM Client in the same situation, same emails are going to spam. I don’t think it is handled by the mail server.
