When using the search bar (Ctrl + E) on Calendar to search for events, you get thrown into the Agenda view. However, when pressing Esc or finishing your query, I don’t believe there is a way to go back to the view you were in before the search unless you manually click “Week”, “Work Week”, or the desired one.
Could there be an option so that once the query is finished (Ex.: pressing Esc or clicking the X on the search bar) you are able to go back to the previous view you were using before being switched into the Agenda view?
Doesn’t anybody find this behavior annoying?
My workaround for the moment is pressing Alt + W after the query, going back to my preferred view (weekly), but I do wish I was able to go back to my preferred view without any shortcuts.
I prefer the Month view but have not found a way to take me there with the keyboard. Alt+O seems like the correct one from judging the screen dump, but Alt+O gives me the Operations window instead…
I just filed a bug report for the V11 beta regarding this. This can be seen in all views, such as Mail, Calendar, Contacts.
For example, Alt+A in the Mail view should take you to Reply All but do instead open the Accounts window. Or Alt+A in the Calendar should open the Agenda but open the Accounts window. Totally unrelated to each view.
I actually meant that i see it on Windows 11. Some issues that can be seen on let´s say eM Client on Windows cannot been seen on eM Client on Mac OS and vice versa.
I see it on Windows 11 with eM Client V10 and V11. That should be crystal clear!
