GMAIL will not connect

I have tried setting up GMAIL access via the eM Client several times and I get the following when it tries to synchronize the folder.  What is really odd is that Thunderbird gives the same issue but Windows 10 Mail (which I do not want to use) works just fine.

I did change GMAIL to accept lower security
I do not have 2-factor authentication enabled
Did CAPTCHA reset

Is anything else not syncing, or Is it just incoming emails?

Originally eM d Thunderbird didn’t sync but Windows Mail did. Now none of them sync. So something weird is going on.

Can you disable your antivirus and firewall and see if that changes anything?

Haha, my Avast update changed my network status from Private to Public.  As soon as I found that and swapped back, everything worked.

Thank you for the follow-ups!
