I have used gmail for years, but it worked. Now, however, when I delete a message from emclient, either shift/delete or “empty trash” gmail is weird. Instead of moving it to “All Mail” in the gmail browser, it moves it directly to trash - - - - AFTER first emptying all the Trash already there.
This was a life-line before, as I knew I could easily retrieve an old email. Not any more.
Are there any fixes for this? Any?

Gmail all mail folder contains all your mail. The Gmail Inbox, Drafts, Sent folders are just “labels” to All Mail which stores or holds all your mail.
So when you delete mail from say the Gmail Inbox, it doesn’t go to All Mail. Its already in All Mail. It goes to the Trash folder. You can then retrieve the deleted mail from the Gmail Trash folder.
Do a test online in your Gmail inbox. If you delete an email from your inbox, it should go to your Gmail Trash folder (not all mail) as designed.
Note: If your deleted mail is not going in the Gmail Trash folder, then contact Google support as all deleted mail from a Google acct allways go in there to be retrieved unless something has happened or changed in your online mailbox.
The only other difference is eg: if you Archive mail in Gmail online or in eM Client it will then only show in All Mail as designed by Gmail.
Thanks! I see the problem now and can work with it. I’m new to emclient, and used another product before this. HOwever, it communicated with Gmail, when I deleted it seemed to still be in All Mail.
So I’ll adapt to this, and make it a point to visit the Gmail page in case I need to save something or move it around.
Thanks for answering so promptly!!
