Normally you can have up to around 15 Gmail IMAP clients logged in at a time per account. So could be Google thinks you are at the limit.
So if you use multiple email clients or multiple devices with the same Gmail account logged in including browser tabs logged in and mobile, tablet devices logged in, “try closing some of them” or “sign out of some of the device clients” and see if that fixes it.
i have 13 pc ipad and cell phone all never had issue before now it almost everythime ime waiting for email some client have it some dont then when i refresh i get the error

Then as all your devices are suddenly saying too many connections, you might have a eg: “Google Gmail issue at the mailbox end”, or could possibly be some sort of eg: Google Gmail server issue where you connect to or could be a local ISP IP address issue.
So first if all your computer and mobile devices all connect through the same Wifi Router at home or work, then suggest “to try powering off your Computer and all Mobile devices and Wifi Router” for say eg: 2 minutes and then power back on incase you have some sort of IP address issue “where a new IP address might resolve it” if you have a dynamically assigned connection.
If it doesn’t and you have all Gmail IMAP account connections, you could try “closing eM Client on your desktop” and “close all your other mobile devices configured with the same Gmail account” and then go online to your Google Account “Third Party Apps” https://myaccount.google.com/connections
Then “remove / revoke the eM Client OAuth token” and then “just only open the eM Client desktop app” and you should get a prompt to re-allow the desktop client to your Gmail account. Then see if that works first without the error. If that works, then open your other devices one by one and see if you then get the same error.
Failing that I would try posting that error then on the “Gmail Community” and see if anyone else on their community has that same issue all of a sudden. Or if you have a Paid Google One account or Google Business account contact them via phone.
ive figured it out ive put all the account out of push and on manual check and each computer like 1 min apart and app and cell phone no more error for now thank you
