'Gmail/Other Contacts' failed due to following Error: Requested entity was not found

I am getting this error whenever I go to refresh my mail for my contacts.

I have tried resetting them, which just eliminated them all together.

I pulled contact services off my account settings and tried resetting it that way, and that didn’t work. However, in my Google account online I show the contacts exist.

What do I need to do to get the contacts to synchronize again? I am using version 10.4.4867

Thanks for sending, I have tried this a few times and the error remains. Essentially, I have no contacts because the error prevents syncing them. I have also tried taking contacts off my gmail account and putting them back on

I finally just deleted the account all together and started over. that seems to have resolved it
