I am suddenly not able to receive gmail messages today. I can send them but not receive. Strangely, although there is a red triangle next to the gmail account, it does not show in the Operation Errors page. I have checked in my web gmail account - nothing obvious has changed, and I can see new emails there. I have removed and reinstalled the Gmail account inside emClient. But now nothing shows below the account name line - e.g. no Inbox, Sent, Trash, Drafts etc… Prior to today it has worked fine for years. And my other email accounts inside emClient (both corporate and personal) are working fine.

Could be your Primary Gmail folders are just hidden.
To check “right click on your Gmail address” and click “Show / Hide folders” and see if the below folders are marked “Show”. If any of them say Hide, click them and change to Show & click Ok.
Next if they are already marked Show or you don’t see those Gmail folders at all, then if you have already removed and re-added the account via the automatic account wizard for Google Workspace as @helpemailtales2 advised, then try going online to your Google account Third Party apps and services and “revoke / remove the eM Client OAuth token”.
Then “close and re-open eM Client” and you should get a popup box / window asking to re-allow eM Client access to your Gmail account. See if that makes any difference.
Apart from that if still not there, then try “rebooting your computer” if you haven’t already tried.
