Gmail imap enabled but em Client says its not...

howdy!

i setup em client with google workspace and it only downloads the junk and trash folder. for the others when i click them, it says i must enable imap to download the all mail folder. it is enabled. tried removing the account and re-entering it and the same. i used the gmail auto install function…

Could be then you either haven’t enabled the All Mail folder in your Gmail account online, or you haven’t enabled IMAP in your Gmail account online.

So go to your Gmail account via a web browser
Then at the top right, click Settings and then click All Settings. Then click the “Labels” tab and make sure the All Mail folder is set to Show and is enabled.

Also click the Gmail online All Settings “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” tab, and make sure IMAP is enabled.

Thank you!!! I had iMap enabled but not all the folders set to be available for imap. apparently the all mail folder is a must.
