Ghost e-mails appeared right after eM Client upgrade to 7.0.27943.0

Today I’ve upgraded my eM Client to 7.0.27943.0 and at the same time some ghost e-mails have appeared. There are 11 old unread e-mails, all from 02.02.2016 in my spam folder. They all don’t have any e-mail body, just titles and I can’t perform any operation on them, e.g.: delete, move, set “read”, etc. How to remove them? How can I do it manually not in eM Client?

Could you please try the following steps?

  • Turn Conversations off (Menu -> View -> Conversations -> Disable Conversations)
  • Turn eM Client off
  • Go to eM Client’s installation folder (something like C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client) and run DbRepair.exe (not the DbRepair.exe.config). Wait until the database check is completed.
  • Turn eM Client on
