Getting old emails from server

I have em client on office PC which basically incinerated itself. I have got files etc cloud based so all good (in case everyone is worried). I have new PC and have downloaded em pro as before, logged in, put in passwords and have got emails but only back as far as 20 odd days. Although it did download three emails from 2012!. Anyway I can force em to get historic emails onto my new PC?

If you have an eg: IMAP account, go to “Menu / Accounts” and click the IMAP tab along the top and select “All Time” under Sync Options as per the below Gmail example. Then save & close.
