I really wanted to try the advanced features before committing to purchase and was excited to get an email from eM with a temporary code to unlock all the features. But when I try to assign a new category (from Primary to Promotion) I’m getting an error message saying that that feature is not available for free license? I tried quitting and reopening, same result.
Any ideas?
When you first install eM Client on a device, you get 30 days to test it with all features. But once you have activated a license, the demo is over.
If you activate a paid license, you will have all features. If you activate a Free license, you will only have Free features.
Ugh. Missread the email. Any way short of deleting and reinstalling to get the 30-day full featured version?
Reinstalling won’t make any difference. Once you have activated a license you can never get another free trial on that device. If that were possible, users would never purchase licenses, just reinstall every 30 days.
You can however install eM Client on another device where eM Client hasn’t been installed, and start a 30 day trial there.
